«Илон Маск (ЮАР) официально побил мировой рекорд по самой крупной потере личного состояния в истории», — говорится в заявлении Книги рекордов Гиннесса. Организация обосновала свое решение данными Forbes, согласно которым личный капитал Маска упал на $183 млрд всего за год.
До Маска предыдущим рекордсменом был японский предприниматель, основатель и гендиректор Softbank Масаеси Сон. В 2000 году он потерял $58,6 млрд личного состояния.
«И не волнуйтесь — несмотря на то, что Маск потерял больше денег, чем любой другой человек в истории, он не будет голодать в ближайшее время. Он по-прежнему второй самый богатый человек в мире», — добавили в Книге рекордов Гиннесса.
