According to the poll, Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 41%, down from 42% in early June. As the agency notes, this is the lowest rating for the American leader since the start of his second term. Trump has repeatedly stated that he does not believe polls showing a decline in his popularity.

Against this backdrop, a White House spokesman told Axios that Trump’s current goal is to end the Iran-Israel war, and he plans to make this message clear to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“We want an agreement and we don’t want more war,” the official said.
