Vietnam has become the tenth BRICS partner country. This was reported on June 13 by the press service of the Brazilian government.
“The Brazilian government, in its capacity as temporary chair of BRICS, announces the official acceptance of Vietnam as a partner country of the group,” follows from the press release.
They noted that Vietnam has a dynamically developing economy.
On June 9, it was reported that the board of governors of the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS gave its consent to the accession of Uzbekistan. A program of priority joint projects worth $5 billion has already been formed.
