Supported by AraratBank, the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall partnered with various community organizations to host a celebratory event in the grounds next to the concert hall. The event featured actors and entertainers who created a heartwarming environment for children with traditional games, interactive activities, chalk drawing, and refreshments.
“AraratBank cares for children year-round, not just on June 1. Throughout the year, the bank has invested significantly in educational and healthcare programs oriented at child wellbeing. Today, we simply want to celebrate and fill their day with smiles and love,” stated Anna Allahverdyan, Head of Communication and CSR Programs Coordination Division at AraratBank.
“The event was made possible thanks to AraratBank’s support, and we are truly grateful for this. The event takes place for the fifth time, and this year it hosted around 200 children from Yerevan and the regions, including kids from vulnerable groups, families displaced from Artsakh and families of fallen servicemen,” said Alina Yengoyan, Deputy Director of the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall and National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.
“We consider partnerships that focus on children to be extremely important, because children from vulnerable families should be under special attention of every one of us. It’s not just about a good deed or volunteering, it’s about demonstrating that all children deserve to live with dignity, equal rights, and equal opportunities,” noted Nare Aramyan, a human rights activist from Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO.
Following the outdoor festivities, the children enjoyed a special concert by the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra called MultFIL, viewing cartoons with background music played by the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. The program featured excerpts from “The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky, “Pirates of the Caribbean” by Klaus Badelt, “Madagascar: Zoosters Breakout” by Hans Zimmer and other favorite compositions.
“Let’s turn this day into a fairy tale together” – this was AraratBank’s message on International Day for Protection of Children. New programs and initiatives are ahead, aimed to assist society in its endeavors to arrive at a dignified and prosperous life for all children,” the bank announced in its statement.
The Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
