On the 100th day of his presidency, Donald Trump faces the lowest level of approval of any recent American leader, with only 44% approving of his performance.
This is lower than Biden (54%), Obama (62%) and Bush Jr. (63%) at the same stage, and also worse than his own figure eight years ago (45%).
According to Fox News, 59% of Americans are dissatisfied with the situation in the country, 71% have a negative assessment of the economy, and 55% believe that their families’ living conditions are deteriorating.
Only 38% of respondents are encouraged by the prospects for the next four years under Trump, compared to 45% in 2017.
In addition, most voters express concern about political disagreements, health care, government spending and the threat of recession. The new decline in ratings is also confirmed by Reuters/Ipsos polls, according to which Trump’s job approval has fallen to its lowest level since the beginning of his second term.
