WSJ Names Trump’s Largest Inauguration Donor

One of the largest chicken producers in the United States, Piligrim’s Pride, donated $5 million for the inauguration of American President Donald Trump, which is a record amount. This was reported on Friday, April 18, by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which reviewed the list of donors.

As indicated in the publication, in total, Trump’s inauguration committee raised almost $250 million from the largest American business corporations. This amount exceeds the previous record of donations by two times, the authors of the material noted.

The following cryptocurrency companies also donated large amounts: Ripple (almost $5 million), Robinhood Markets ($2 million), Coinbase Inc. ($1 million).
Also, oil and gas giant Chevron contributed $2 million, and Exxon Mobil, Occidental Petroleum, and ConocoPhillips each donated another $1 million.

In addition, representatives of the pharmaceutical industry supported the inauguration.

Amazon, the developer of the ChatGPT service, McDonald’s, Delta Air Lines, Nvidia, and Boeing each sent $1 million to Trump’s inaugural committee. Earlier, on April 11, it was reported that US government spending during Trump’s second presidential term increased by $154 billion compared to the same period in 2024 under the administration of former US President Joe Biden, despite the work of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
