The purchase of Eurofighter fighter jets is expected to be a major item on the agenda of President Erdoğan’s bilateral talks in Spain and Italy. Turkey wants to add 40 Eurofighter jets to its inventory before Greece acquires F-35 fighter jets in order to avoid a weakness in its air force.
